We are a small company able to find you quality songs or production music, just right for your project. We can also record something new to fit your needs.

20to9 Music has a team of experienced composers, songwriters and musicians working with founders, Grant and Jeremy.

Grant is a guitarist, singer and arranger who has written high-quality original songs and production music for many years.

With a particular interest in rock, folk and electronic genres, his work has featured in a number of films as well as in advertising. He has worked with some of the best in the business and learned a lot as a student of the great Ray Davies. His Christmas classic Bah Humbug can be heard in the seasonal movie Happy Holidays and he has a number of other credits. He even once performed on Channel 4s The Big Breakfast as a Blues Brother with John Landis… and Keith Chegwin!

Jeremy won awards for his flute compositions as his style developed, and since then has scored for animation, documentaries, ads, theatre, bands, and podcasts. He writes songs in diverse styles and enjoys composing and arranging music in a range of settings. His score for the satirical animation Norvölk premiered at the 2021 Rouen This is England festival, and his music underpins the BAFTA award winning film-maker Charles Stewart’s hard-hitting documentary, Nobody Told Us Anything (which deals with the aftermath of the Pacific atom bomb tests).   With degrees in Music, English and Japanese, and specialisations in music for drama and ethnomusicology, he is excited to work in many genres.

 Jeremy can play the flute, shakuhachi flute, saxophones, piano… and saw (!) – and does all of these with the alternative folk rock band Miss Havisham’s Digital Clock. Grant also performs in this band as guitarist, vocalist and harmonica player. Many of Miss Havisham’s Digital Clock‘s varied and interesting songs are available to license from 20to9music in vocal versions, instrumental variations and alternative mixes. 20to9music is a natural progression from that collaboration.

There are three distinct modes to choose from:

a) Production Music b) Songs c) Custom-made Music.

a) Production Music is written for synchronisation to TV, videogame, film etc. and is mixed for that use. You can licence Production Music track directly from this website and download it straight away! We have alternative versions of the same track and you just need to get in touch if you need something edited or looped.

b) Songs are a major part of our catalogue, and ae available for license in any context. Just contact us with some details about your planned usage and we’ll get back to you ASAP.

c) Custom-made Music is written to the clients brief and demands. It is a great choice for getting just the sound you want. As with songs, please fill out the short form telling us a bit about your project (including a reference track as a guide, if possible). We’ll get back to you with a free quote.
